Céline was born in the town of Lille in the North of France, close to the Belgium border.
She learned to cook as a little girl hovering on the side of her grandmother.
Later, and despite her choice as an International Business major, she followed up her passion with the food industry. Waitressing during her studies in France and The United States. Always more attracted to the kitchen than the salon, she spent hours observing the chefs of those restaurants.
And even while being dedicated to her studies and career choice; she always had this secret dream being part of the gastronomy world. Honing her skills with caterings for friends or throwing huge diner parties at her place, she was always experimenting with new menu ideas.
Tired of the advertising experience, she quit and booked a plane for South America looking for a new life. After 13-months of travel from Cuba to Ushuaia, the trip stopped in Buenos Aires, "I just loved the city so much that she never wanted to leave again” and so settled on the project she imagined along the trip; her restaurant.
Simple receipes, good ingredients, new flavor combinations, homemade food, always reflecting on past successes and failures. Those receipes were slightly modificated thanks to the Atelier culinary team, and the desire to bring a unique menu into town; born from a French girl who feel in love with South America forever.
